This cafe is almost 20 km from Thames, on SH27, very close to SH2. I had breakfast there and enjoyed salmon eggs benedict. The cafe staff were really nice, and I loved the cafe garden. Highly recommended place for a break if it's on your way.

This was an unplanned stop for us; however, it was so charming. Good amount of take away option for on the go. Clean restrooms and a small area for children. Lovely outside seating.

Stopped here for a cup of coffee this morning. It was 7:30am. Place didn't look open. Lucky for me the guy inside saw me and waved. They don't open until 8am but he called me in and made me a coffee. Had that inside and them decided I needed something to eat. Freshly baked pies were coming out of the oven. I had a lamb pie. It was great with real pieces of lamb inside. The place is lovley and very clean and tidy. This can me matched with the A+ food rating I guess. The toilets were very clean also.

We had the gluten free toast, pie, coffee and iced chocolate. The garden is a good choice for relaxing and enjoying the sun.

We loved everything about this cafe. Beautifully landscaped with indoor and outdoor seating, we chose to sit inside in a sunny spot with quirky artifacts like tea cup chandeliers. Breakfast was perfect as was the service. Would love to return when the wisteria is flowering in Spring..

Nice little cafe stop off a main highway for those travelling through the country. Food was fresh, tasty and filling. Toilets were clean and tidy. Only downside is that the cabinet prices are quite expensive. Keen to return on my next trip to Auckland!

I booked a group for a late lunch but the rain interfered with our previous plans, so we arrived early. The staff were very accommodating, the coffee was delicious, and the food came out quickly. We will be back.
